Ferrari Testa Rossa

I have a guess some of you have been thinking- "Look- you've been in a race car museum. Where are the Ferraris!? Huh!? Where!?" And some of you are thinking.."Indeed, all those loverly cars from England, where's the bloody Red Menace!?"

Indeed, Doc Simeone has a few. Here's his Pontoon-Fendered Testa Rossa from circa 1957. It's an early one, the front fenders and nose are evidently the giveaway. I can tell you from seeing one at Watkins Glen that was pulled out of a trailer and started up... they sound splendid!

Back in this era, if you didn't have a Jag D-Type or Aston-Martin DBR-1 or a Maserati, this is what one drove if they wanted to have half a chance at a win! A true classic sports car!
