Description

Caught this as the owner was taking his car back from display at the AACA Museum. Not many of them in the US, this one was obviously brought over from the UK at some time. Speedo's in km/hr, etc. A very attractive vehicle in the flesh.

It's a lefty (LHD) and if the tachometer is in kph then it's probably a German import to Britain before it got UK plates and tax disc (is there an actual paper tax disc in the holder?). Certainly not Brit-spec. Did it have a dual tachometer? Like in kpm and mph on a second line?

Actual Brit-spec is ultra rare, but a few factory built RHD 959's did exist.

Guessing the headlights have been converted to US spec. They look strange.
