1971 Intermeccanica Italia Spyder

Intermeccanica was founded in 1959 in Turin and built tuner parts mainly for French cars. Later, they built some interesting hybrids with American engines and chassis and Italian coachwork like this spectacular Italia. The car was originally called the Torino, but was likely changed to avoid issues with Ford. 411 were built between 1968 and 1972. This one has a 370 HP Ford Cleveland 351 V-8 powering it.

An interesting part of this vehicle's history was the fact one of its former owners was Miles Davis. Smooth, man, very smooth.
